an international scientific – practical conference

 

“Economics, Business and Tourism: Challenges, Achievements and Innovations”

 

 

The conference program covers the following areas:

  1. Economic theory and policy;
  2. Finances and investment;
  3. Microeconomics, management, marketing and services sector;
  4. Tourism;
  5. Statistics, accounting and audit;
  6. Public administration; legal support for business;
  7. Macroeconomics, regional and municipal economy;

 

Working languages: Georgian, English, Russian

 

 

Note: Conference participation (the conference prceedings and additional material) is free!

 

Paper submission deadline and guidelines:

The deadline for submitting conference papers is 1700 October 29, 2017. All submissions should be in electronic format and comply with the following requirements:

  • The paper is written in one of the working languages of the conference and is accompanied by an abstract in English (160-170 words);
  • The paper (including references and sources) should not exceed 6 pages.
  • The paper should be presented in A4 format; left, right, top and bottom margins – 2cm.;
  • Fonts: Sylfaen or Times New Roman, style: Normal, font size – 11;
  • Line spacing – 1,15;
  • Figures, charts, graphs, etc. - in TIFF 300dpi; 600dpi format. Microsoft equation 2.0 (2.1.) should be used for equations;
  • References should be listed at the end of the paper;
  • A paper may have maximum two co-authors;
  • Each participant of the conference is requested to fill in the application form indicating a desired activity.

 

Authors of rejected papers are entitled to demand well-arguemented explanation from conference organizers and editorial board.

 

Paper and abstract formatting instructions:

  • Top right-hand corner –author(s)’s name and surname (in Bold), a hyphen followed by affiliation, academic degree and position (in one of the working languages and English)
  • After 1 space centered – title of the paper in bold;
  • After 1 space - full text of the paper in one of the working languages of the conference and an abstarct in English (including the title)

 

Note: Conference organizers reserve the right to select the papers and refuse to publish them! Papers that do not comply with submission requirements will not be considered for publication!

 

The editorial board respects the views of authors. Responsibility for the opinions and conclusions, economic and statistical data, facts, quotations and geographical names as well as any other information set out in the paper lies entirely with the authors.

 

Important dates (Georgian time):

1700 October 29 – Deadline for submittng electronic versions of papers and participant applications;

November 1  - Notifying authors of paper acceptance;

November 11-12   - Conference dates.

 

 

Note: The organizing committee looks to publish the conference proceedings before the conference date!
